We all know about The Great Wall of China, but we dont know about the Great Wall
of Benin, The Guinness Book of World Records (1974) describes the walls as the
world's second largest man-made structure after China's Great Wall, it covered a
border distance of 16,000km. It was once thought to be larger than the Great
Wall of China. The wall was for protection from invaders, the construction
started around 800AD and was completed in 1460AD, it covered a 6500km² of
community land.
